JPR Day is an annual event hosted by the Department of Journalism & Public Relations at California State University, Long Beach that brings together students, faculty, alumni and industry professionals for a day of networking, panels and career development opportunities in the communications field. As an account executive for our client, I supported the planning and execution of the event by leading the promotion strategy, coordinating pre-event logistics and helping manage on-site operations. I collaborated with my team to ensure an engaging experience for attendees, contributing to an increase in event attendance that connected students with real-world insights and professional opportunities.

Azul PR Agency partnered with the Linguistics Department at California State University, Long Beach to develop a comprehensive communications campaign aimed at increasing awareness and engagement with the department’s programs and initiatives. As an account strategist, I contributed to the development of the campaign by leading the social media strategy, designing branded content templates, and organizing a structured content calendar to ensure consistent messaging across platforms. I collaborated with my team to create a cohesive campaign book outlining key messaging, target audiences, and engagement tactics. Where Language Leads is a strategic communications campaign for the Linguistics Department at CSULB that presents the research and planning behind a proposed public relations initiative. It includes a situational analysis, target audience research, key messages, and defined goals, objectives, strategies, and tactics. The book outlines evaluation methods to measure campaign effectiveness and ensure alignment with communication goals.

In my time managing Azul PR Agency’s social media, I was responsible for developing content that reflected the agency’s brand while engaging our target audience. I created posts, wrote captions, and collaborated with team members to highlight client work, agency culture, and key initiatives.
